Fed: Howard govt kept rental report secret: Plibersek

SYDNEY, Feb 22 AAP - The previous federal government knew of the impending rental crisis
across Australia in 2005 but hid the report that detailed the problem, Housing Minister
Tanya Plibersek says.
Ms Plibersek said the coalition government stifled requests for access to the report
- The rent assistance program: The synthesis and analysis of stakeholder views.
"We are talking about a report that the previous government suppressed. It was given
