NSW: Men charged with damaging police truck
Two men from Sydney's northern beaches have been charged with causing about $17,000worth of damage to a police truck.
An 18-year-old Avalon youth and a 19-year-old Collaroy man were each charged yesterdaywith one count of malicious damage after the incident on July the 18th.
The 18-year-old has also been charged with public mischief in connection with a falsereport to "000" emergency line.
Police allege the men, part of a larger group, pushed the truck into a power pole.
A juvenile also interviewed by police about the incident has not been charged, butwill receive youth conferencing.
The two men have been bailed to appear in Manly Local Court on August the 27th.
